Red Bull issue statement hitting back at comments from McLaren chief Zak Brown

Zak Brown, the head of McLaren, made some audacious predictions about the defending champions, to which Red Bull has responded.

In a statement released on Friday in advance of the Miami Grand Prix, Red Bull refuted the allegations made by Zak Brown.

After star aerodynamicist Adrian Newey’s departure was confirmed, the CEO of McLaren Racing hinted that he had received numerous resumes from the current champions and foresaw a mass departure.

Red Bull is confident that their dominance will continue and that important figures will not follow the 65-year-old out of Milton Keynes, even though they have lost the greatest engineering brain in Formula One history.

A Red Bull representative stated, “In the last few months, every member of our technical leadership team has committed to Red Bull Racing by signing long-term contracts,” as disclosed by Sky Sports F1 prior to Saturday’s qualifying.

Therefore, we’re not sure to which CVs Zak is alluding. We don’t anticipate any big losses, and most definitely not the cascading effect Zak is hoping for.”
