F1 LIVE: Christian Horner ‘will leave Red Bull’ as Lewis Hamilton issued ban at Mercedes

Christian Horner, the team principal for Red Bull, will be interrogated on Friday as part of an independent probe into claims the British athlete acted in an inappropriate and domineering manner. An employee of Red Bull has made accusations against Horner, which he has refuted.

The investigation’s conclusion date has not been set, but we will keep you informed as this story progresses.

Mercedes is still looking for someone to replace Lewis Hamilton. Although Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz Jr., Alex Albon, Esteban Ocon, and Frederik Vesti have all been mentioned as possible 2025 successors, there isn’t yet a front-runner.

Horner ‘shocked and disturbed’ by investigation

Christian Horner has reportedly been left ‘shocked and disturbed’ by the ongoing investigation into his behaviour by Red Bull’s parent company in Austria.

His closest allies see it as a “attack” on his authority, according to The Guardian, with one source characterizing it as an effort to “clip his wings or remove him from the job altogether.”

According to the report, Horner’s backers don’t think the improper and domineering behavior that was mentioned during the investigation was violent or bullying-related.

They also believe that how Horner is perceived will be important in presenting his case when he is questioned by a leading attorney at a hearing on Friday.

Hamilton ‘issued with Mercedes ban’

According to reports, Lewis Hamilton has been banned from directly luring Mercedes employees to join him at Ferrari. The Brit has been dealt a serious blow to any hopes of getting back together with some of his important team members as he prepares to leave the Silver Arrows at the end of the season to take up a new seat alongside Charles Leclerc.

According to Planet F1, Hamilton’s contract at Mercedes contains a “no-poaching” clause that forbids him from taking any employees with him following his dramatic departure to Ferrari.
