Christian Horner meeting riles up Red Bull star as Guenther Steiner lands new job

We will know the outcome of the first Grand Prix of the season in Bahrain at this time next week. Red Bull star Max Verstappen is the clear favorite to win and have a strong start to his 2024 title defense as he has won four consecutive Drivers’ Championships.

Although using the extremely quick C4 compound tires, Ferrari recorded the fastest lap times during pre-season testing, and Carlos Sainz will be eager to impress the Scuderia before Lewis Hamilton takes over as driver in 2025.

Mercedes, McLaren, and Aston Martin will also try to catch up to Red Bull faster than they did in the previous season, when Christian Horner and company dominated the opposition.

Christian Horner meeting riles up Red Bull ace Lawson

Liam Lawson, a reserve driver for Red Bull, was not happy about losing out on an F1 seat the previous season.

As a stand-in for the injured Daniel Ricciardo, the New Zealander scored two goals for the team formerly known as Alpha Tauri.

However, it was insufficient to propel him above Yuki Tsunoda and Ricciardo in the hierarchy.

A clip from the latest season of Drive to Survive features Red Bull CEO Horner breaking the bad news to Lawson.

The 22-year-old then declared, facing the Netflix cameras, “I just defeated the person who was assigned the seat, Tsunoda. It was destined for me.”

Guenther Steiner lands new F1 job

After being fired by Haas at the conclusion of the previous season, Guenther Steiner is back on the job.

The former team principal from Italy gained cult status for his tough demeanor and ferocious outbursts.

And he has now decided to take a different path by joining German broadcaster RTL as an F1 pundit.

This season, Steiner will contribute his knowledge at seven race weekends, beginning this coming weekend with the Bahrain Grand Prix.
