Following Max Verstappen’s victory in Brazil, Christian Horner, the manager of Red Bull, gave former world champion Damon Hill a hard time.

Verstappen’s elbows-out strategy in Mexico last month, which resulted in two 10-second time penalties, drew harsh criticism from Hill.

Prior to Sunday’s race in Sao Paulo, Hill stated, “It is possible to race fairly and that is something I’m not sure that Max is capable of.”

Nevertheless, Hill acknowledged that he had “displayed his brilliance” following an incredible Verstappen performance.

FIA punish Norris, Russell and Mercedes
Following a chaotic Brazilian Grand Prix, the FIA has been imposing fines on a regular basis.

For unlawfully altering the tire pressures on George Russell’s and Lewis Hamilton’s vehicles on the grid following an aborted start, Mercedes was ordered to pay just over £8,000.

Normally, the team would have received a sporting punishment for the incident, but the FIA cited a “unique” set of circumstances.

George Russell and Lando Norris were separately fined slightly more than £4,000 for violations during the aborted start procedure.

The majority of other drivers followed the pair as they started a second formation lap without permission while seated in the front row.
