Fans Are Worried For Simone Biles After Three-Word Statement On Social Media

On social media, American gymnastics icon Simone Biles typically presents a very vivacious and upbeat image. But occasionally, the 27-year-old gives her admirers a glimpse—so to speak—of the real Simone. This seems to have been the case early on Sunday morning when Biles posted an open admission about her current state of mind on social media. At approximately 1:00 AM local time, the eleven-time Olympian took to Threads to share that, at that moment, her emotional state isn’t exactly the best.

Biles wrote, “sad girl hours.” Since it was assumed that Simone was depressed given the time of day, the fans were quick to offer her some consolation. Some admirers couldn’t help but worry a little bit for the iconic gymnast. “Hope all is well with you,” a comment said.

Someone else asked, “Are you ok?” “Oh no, ma’am. A fan exclaimed, “Pick that head up and keep taking over the world!” It’s alright. Release it. Permit me to shower you in comfort and hugs. I’m always available to support you.” A reader responded.

“A great deal of company. Nights are hard; on sometimes, Sundays seem to be the hardest. plus a little post-Paris blues. Another said, “The sun will shine again.”

Biles has a history of mental health problems. She disclosed in 2016 that she had received an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnosis when she was younger. She experienced the “twisties,” an inexplicable phenomenon that causes gymnasts to lose coordination in midair, and had to withdraw from the Tokyo Olympics three years ago.

But Biles has persevered and stayed resilient. She demonstrated that, in spite of her problems, she is still the best gymnast in the world when she returned to the Olympic stage in Paris. Fans are currently just hoping that she can overcome whatever hardships she may be going through, no matter how minor, with the strength and network of support she has around her.
