This week, LIV golf events, which consist of just 54 holes spread over three days, could be very helpful.
When a number of the league’s European players landed in the United States on Tuesday for the LIV Houston tournament, they discovered their golf bags had not traveled across the Atlantic. Luckily for them, the competition doesn’t begin until Friday. Luckily for us, someone at the Houston airport recorded their responses on camera.
Naturally, Tyrrell Hatton gave the most amusing—and explicit—answer when asked where he believed his clubs were.
With a laugh, he says, “F— knows.” “F— is aware.”
But Ian Poulter appeared to have a better notion.
Poulter stated, “It’s probably back in Heathrow, the airport in London.” “Excellent work.”
Henrik Stenson answered, “Um, hopefully, Heathrow,” when questioned. (And, hopefully, they’re not being physically mistreated like the ones that were captured on camera a few weeks ago.) Next was Lee Westwood’s amusing reply when questioned about the status of his case.
“Heathrow. I’m not sure where I am. “Houston,” he joked. I guess the LIV Golf party plane is retired! Regardless, look and listen:
It’s difficult not to laugh at that video, even though it’s a nightmare for every golfer who travels. But really, guys, good luck with those bags.
