In a stunning tweet, Anthony Kim unleashed his frustration on Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee by calling him a “pu**y.”
Anthony Kim of LIV Golf has called Brandel Chamblee, an analyst for Golf Channel, a “pu**y” on Twitter.
In his most recent tweet, Kim—the newest member of the Saudi-funded LIV Golf League—took aim at the former PGA Tour winner.
Chamblee had dramatically changed his mind earlier in the day about the PGA Tour’s position on Saudi Arabian investment in professional golf.
On June 6, 2023, Chamblee declared that “one of the saddest days in pro golf” had occurred with the PGA Tour’s shockingly announced planned merger with the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF).
After just under a year, Chamblee is saying that the PIF is the “better end of the bargain” and the PGA Tour ought to accept a deal with them.
This week, Chamblee stated:
Whether you like it or not, the PGA Tour is in a difficult situation. Would you like to compete against someone who isn’t going away and can outspend you (PIF)? That person is LIV Golf.
“Every change they make to improve their tour erases your tour and creates more division among the participants.
“To Rory’s point about striking a deal, the time is now. A year ago, I wouldn’t have said that, but it’s the better end of the deal.”
Although it’s impossible to know for sure, given the timing of Chamblee’s tweet, we have good reason to think that Kim’s hostile remarks are specifically directed at his most recent quotes.
Late on Friday afternoon, Kim posted the following on Twitter:
“Ramble Chamblee @chambleebrandel, you’re such a pussy, pounding on your chest and essentially advocating for hypocritical and never-backdown retreats. It’s no secret that most people in the golf world detest this incompetent fool. Will you still cover golf if @livgolf_league is participating?
Kim made her fourth appearance in LIV this month during the breakaway tour’s recent trip to Adelaide.
Kim has so far placed 53-50-53-54 in fields with 54 men.
After 12 competitive rounds, he has an astounding 46-over par score to date.
Kim is participating in this campaign as a “wildcard,” having not yet committed to a LIV team.
Despite this, he has yet to earn a point and remains at the bottom of the individual standings.
