Leclerc sends Hamilton message
Charles Leclerc insisted that winning titles at Ferrari is his ‘only target’ as he broke his silence on Lewis Hamilton’s impending move to the Prancing Horse.
Leclerc declared: “My only goal is to win the championship.” I don’t aim for second place; winning is what makes me happy.
“While we are constantly optimistic and strive to perform to the best of our abilities, you also need to set realistic goals for yourself. While winning is everyone’s goal, we must now try to get as close to Red Bull as we can given where we were starting from the previous year.
“That step is our goal to challenge, and we will do everything in our power to try and accomplish it.”
