Brooks Koepka left a pair of sarcastic messages on the official LIV Golf social media pages which appeared to illustrate some discontent.
Perhaps Brooks Koepka is one unhappy camper.
That is, if you accept his most recent Instagram replies to LIV Golf’s official posts as true.
The five-time major champion seemed a little displeased on Sunday that the breakaway tour hasn’t yet revealed their entire 2024 schedule.
For the upcoming season, just one event—LIV’sAprilreturn to Adelaide—has been confirmed. It is anticipated that the schedule will mainly resemble the second, 14-stop campaign.
Curiously, LIV appear to be distancing themselves from Donald Trump courses.
American Koepka, now 33 years old, appeared to be getting antsy at the lack of news.
LIV shared a post on 19 November, asking fans which ‘DM’ they’d appreciate most from a LIV player.
Koepka’s response was to say: “The Dm with the schedule for next year would be nice.”
The post was captured and re-shared by Golfweek’s Eamon Lynch.
However, Koepka didn’t stop there. Shortly afterward, the 2023 PGA Championship victor answered a different post inquiring about the golf enthusiasts’ preferred shoes while playing.
“We haven’t seen the schedule, so we don’t know which course,” was the response.
Though it was obvious that Koepka was being facetious, he is usually a player who doesn’t mind speaking his opinion.
He got into a heated argument with his own teammate Matthew Wolff during the 2022–2023 season.
When things got tough during tournament rounds, he accused Wolff of giving up. About Wolff, Koepka remarked, “So much talent.” “But the ability is squandered.”
Although Wolff hasn’t been removed from the Smash GC roster yet, it’s likely that he will join a different squad for the 2024 season.
In other LIV news, players had until November 20th to register for their upcoming promotions event.
The promotion event, which offers three spots for the 2024 season, functions as a sort of Q-School for the league supported by Saudi Arabia.
Members of the PGA Tour are still able to compete, despite the DP World Tour’s position being different.
