With three gold medals to her name, Simone Biles was among the best American athletes competing in the summer Olympics in Paris. After watching a recent episode of the Simone Biles Rising documentary on Netflix, fans feel that four should have been the number.
You can hear remarks regarding a possible investigation into Biles’ score in a video that provides an inside look at the Team USA sidelines following the floor exercise.
That question was never answered.
Biles won silver after finishing second to Brazilian Rebeca Andrade. Would a second glance have made her a gold digger?
We’ll never find out!
Many people questioned the outcome right away after witnessing the US perspective of those last moments of the floor routine. Unlike those critics, Simone Biles expressed her thoughts about the scores on X.
In response to a follower who expressed frustration, she said, “Honestly, not a big deal for me.” In any case, Rebecca had a better floor. Although the lack of processing is upsetting, I’m not upset with the outcome.
“Yeah, ya hear me? But justice for Jordan,” she said in closing.
Even though the drama surrounding Biles has now surfaced, teammate Jordan Chiles garnered media attention shortly after the event concluded. Her 4th place score was questioned by Team USA, and as a result, she was moved up to bronze.
However, the medal was quickly withdrawn and returned to Ana Barbosu of Romania.
Since then, Chiles has filed a lawsuit in the hopes of being granted a third-place finish once more.
Even though her inquiry was not submitted, Simone Biles is not bothered about her silver medal standing. Rebeca Andrade, according to her, performed better that day!
That doesn’t mean she isn’t disappointed with the outcome, and she won’t stop advocating for herself after her teammate allegedly made fun of her!
