LIV Golf League pro Richard Bland posts new video of Tiger Woods ahead of his PGA Tour return.
Tiger Woods appears to have all but confirmed that he will be working on a new apparel partnership with TaylorMade in a new video that LIV Golf League pro Richard Bland posted.
On January 8, 2024, Woods, 48, announced his unexpected departure from Nike following a fruitful 27-year collaboration.
Many rumors had been floating around regarding the brand that Woods might choose to wear on the PGA Tour this year.
However, it seems that there is now just one on the list.
Bland, who will return to play on Martin Kaymer’s Cleeks GC on LIV Golf in 2024, shared a video of Woods on his Instagram Story earlier today.
Despite Woods’s lack of focus in the video, Ollie Neglerio, a member of TaylorMade’s content team, has been identified on social media as the man near the camera in the video.
These days, it seems highly probable that Woods’ final destination will be a partnership with his equipment provider, TaylorMade.
The first person to report this news on Twitter was @NUCLRGOLF.
According to trademark filings found on the account, which also manages the well-liked Woods fan page TWLEGION on the same platform, the two are reportedly starting a new lifestyle brand.
The brand will be called Sunday Red, not surprisingly.
The name is an obvious reference to the legendary shirt that the hall of famer wears on the last day of competitions.
Since collaborating with Nike in 1997, Woods has worn the color consistently.
The former World No. 1 is anticipated to play in his first PGA Tour event of 2024, the Genesis Invitational, which is being held at the renowned Riviera from February 15–18 by his Tiger Woods Foundation.
