Hamilton makes astonishing 3-word statement after taking part in US F1 qualifying

Lewis Hamilton believes his Mercedes team has a chance of victory this weekend thanks to a series of new upgrades to the W14 and support households of a large audience.

The British driver will start third in Sunday’s race after a tight qualifying session that left him fighting for pole position in the closing stages of Q3.

Hamilton always dominated America, winning six races there, including a surprise win at Indianapolis in his rookie season of 2007.

Hamilton:
Anything can happen with this crowd.
“It’s exactly on a par with Silverstone,” Hamilton told the media after qualifying. “It’s a truly legendary track that I think every racer finds really challenging.

“I’ll definitely try my best and with this crowd, I think anything is possible so we’ll try.”

Hamilton, who hasn’t won in two years, has one of his best chances of the year to win his 104th race on Sunday, but it won’t be easy.

For the first time in a long time, it looks like four teams will battle for victory in Austin on Sunday, with the top three drivers yet to win this season and certainly hungry success.
