TIGER WOODS “WAS DRAINED” AT RYDER CUP, ADMITS CAPTAIN JIM FURYK

Jim Furyk also claimed that Phil Mickelson is “working on his game” at Golf National

Jim Furyk spoke to Golf Channel’s Tim Rosaforte to reveal the extent of the US Ryder Cup team’s failures at Le Golf National – two of which involved the experienced duo of Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson failing to score points any.

US Ryder Cup captain Furyk said Woods was “exhausted” after winning the Tour Championship a few days earlier, ending a five-year winless streak on the PGA Tour.

He also discussed Mickelson’s struggles and that the experienced left-hander had been “working on his game” for much of the week. Watch the clip below…

Furyk also revealed that Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka had an argument on Sunday night at the Ryder Cup, although Koepka has insisted it did not happen last week. He also explained how Patrick Reed knew before WEEK that he would play with Woods at the Ryder Cup, despite what he said during Ryder Cup week itself.
