Simone Biles Makes a Huge Confession to 1.5 Million Followers Post Paris Olympics Celebration With Her Family

Tequila and Simone Biles have a typical love-hate relationship. She even celebrates her “favorite holiday // national margarita day,” so it’s no secret that she loves a good margarita. However, athletes undergo rigorous training, which includes abstaining from alcohol in the weeks preceding the Olympics in Paris. The organizing committee went so far as to construct a sports bar in the village, minus the alcohol. Therefore, Simone demonstrated her compliance with the rules before leaving for Paris by posting a humorous photo of herself and her Team USA gymnasts clinking glasses with the caption, “mocktails of course.”

Then, on August 8, shortly after competing in the Paris Olympics, where she won three gold medals and one silver, making her the most decorated American gymnast in history, she excitedly shared on Instagram Threads, writing, “I know tequila hate to see me coming.” But four days later, tequila appeared to have prevailed. “I’m never drinking again,” Simone declared on Instagram Threads following her final night in the City of Lights. What then caused this abrupt change in heart?

Following the Olympics in Paris, Simone Biles and her sister Adria Biles celebrated with a lavish final lap of victory. On August 11, she was spotted having fun at the l’Arc club with a number of well-known figures, including French swimming sensation Léon Marchand. Simone, the most decorated Olympic gymnast in US history, was the life of the party, showing off her dance moves to the wave of American flags and illuminated signs held by celebrants.

The following day, Biles posted to her 1.5 million Instagram Stories followers, “The reason I’m unwell this morning,” along with a video of the celebration in which the attendees cheered and waved American flags. In a different video, “We Are the Champions” by Queen played over confetti and a sign that read “Gym legend Simone Biles.” How did our Olympic queen end the evening?

Please tell me to go home if you see me out at the club. For my own benefit & health in the morning,” Biles wrote, attaching a monochrome clip of herself and Adria, her younger sister, dancing to the 2010 hit song “Grove St. Party” by Waka Flocka Flame. Upon reflection of Simone’s spectacular post-Olympic party, it is evident that she relished the party scene, but she certainly deserved it given her amazing performances. However, did you know that Simone Biles has had wild nights with alcohol before? Let’s go back to her spectacular marriage to Jonathan Owens in 2023!

Simone Biles’s crazy night following the Olympics in Paris is reminiscent of her crazy wedding!

While celebrating her and Jonathan Owens’ first wedding anniversary, Simone Biles made a hilarious confession. On April 22, 2023, the couple got married in a small courtroom ceremony in Texas. On May 6, 2023, they flew to Cabo San Lucas for their second ceremony, which was attended by 140 guests. Biles posted a ton of adorable pictures from their Cabo celebration in honor of their anniversary. In one Instagram Story, she shared a cute moment at a pool party with her mother, Nellie Biles. “Momma Biles is probably telling me I need to eat before I black out,” she joked above the photo.

She acknowledged that she “did indeed black out” and missed the remainder of the celebration beneath the picture, writing, “Which would have been good advice about 3 hours before this.” In a different tale, she uploaded a picture of herself with what appeared to be someone else’s beer directly in her mouth, with the remark, “& then I blacked out.”

After the Olympics in Paris, the GOAT is back home in Texas, and her fans can’t wait to see more of her joyous occasions with close friends! Do you think Simone Biles will honor her promise to abstain from alcohol? Post your ideas in the comments section below!
