Dustin Johnson disgusted by Bryson DeChambeau at the 2024 LIV Golf Adelaide event

Dustin Johnson expressed his displeasure with Bryson DeChambeau giving away his socks to a fan following a loss in a putting contest at the 2024 LIV Golf Adelaide event.

The activities took place from Friday, April 26, to Sunday, April 28. DeChambeau participated in a putting competition at The Garage Golf Club during a practice session. He missed the putt, so he gave his socks to a spectator. DeChambeau carried his shoes and walked barefoot to the club after the competition. Dustin Johnson, seated on the stairs, couldn’t resist asking about this after noticing it.

DeChambeau remarked, “I lost my socks in a putting contest.”
Johnson questioned, “You had to give your socks?”
“My socks were wanted by someone. “I didn’t make the putt,” DeChambeau answered.
That’s repulsive, Johnson declared.

The 2024 LIV Golf Adelaide featured a strong performance from Dustin Johnson. He shot even-par to begin the competition, then two under-par rounds to finish with a total of 9-under par. Alongside Paul Casey and Pat Perez, he was able to secure the T31 spot on the leaderboard thanks to this. Johnson scored 72 in the opening round after making four birdies, two bogeys, and a double bogey. In the second round, he showed great form, finishing 6-under par with six birdies and no bogeys.

He shot three bogeys and six birdies in the third and final round to finish three under par.Conversely, Bryson DeChambeau shot two rounds of 4 under par, then a final round of 2 under par to tie for 26th place. Finishing with a 10-under par total, he tied for 26th place. The winner of the LIV Golf Adelaide 2024 was Brendan Steele, with Louis Oosthuizen coming in second. Along with Charl Schwartzel, Andy Ogletree, Joaquin Niemann, and Dean Burmester, Jon Rahm shared third place.

Mito Pereira finished in eighth place by himself, and Abraham Ancer, Brooks Koepka, Matt Jones, Jinichiro Kozuma, and Danny Lee tied for ninth.

Martin Kaymer tied for 14th place with Marc Leishman, Lucas Herbert, Thomas Pieters, Anirban Lahiri, Tyrrell Hatton and Cam Smith.
