Hamilton pressed to abandon Ferrari as Red Bull warned against £15m splurge

Max Verstappen will try to mathematically win the Drivers’ Championship in Las Vegas later this month for the fourth time in a row. Last time out, the Red Bull star daggered Lando Norris’ title attempt in Brazil, where he came from 17th on the grid to win.

There is still a fierce competition among the constructors, even though the top of the individual rankings is essentially decided. The gap between McLaren, Ferrari, and Red Bull is less than fifty points going into the season’s last three races.

Mercedes will want to give Lewis Hamilton a fitting send-off before he joins the Scuderia, as they are far behind in fourth place.

Lewis Hamilton pressed to abandon Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton has been urged by former Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone to resign from his Ferrari contract if he believes he is losing his influence in the sport.

The grid was rocked by Hamilton’s deal with the Scuderia, but the 39-year-old had a rough weekend in Brazil and hasn’t finished on the podium since July.

“I don’t believe Lewis will have an easy time. Ecclestone told the Daily Mail, “especially in that team.” Charles Leclerc will have their support. He grew up there and is quick. He won’t be dumped for anybody.

Lewis should go away and do something else, and do it well, if he is fading, which I don’t like to see.

“Did he not say he wanted to hear less from them now that he’s part of the older generation?”
