This conspiracy theory claims that Tiger Woods is desperate to retire, but he won’t because he wants to promote his new clothing line.

The DailyMail reported, citing an unidentified “source” close to Tiger, that the 15-time major champion is eager to hang up his golf club.
He “must play on” to support Sun Day Red, his recently announced new clothing and footwear brand, though he won’t.
At the Genesis Invitational, Woods donned apparel other than Nike for the first time in his 27-year career.
The PGA Tour event that he organizes every year at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles ended tragically for the golf legend.
After just six holes of his second round, 48-year-old Woods announced his withdrawal.
Soon after, rumors circulated that Woods was having new problems with his back or right leg. or both.
After the opening round, Woods acknowledged that he was experiencing back pain. He even delivered a mean shank.
When paramedics were called to the clubhouse, his supporters thought the worst, but it turned out that Woods only had influenza.
“If Tiger could retire, he would,” the source said to the DM.
Even though his body is damaged, he still needs to put in appearances and try his best for his brand.
After the collision, he believed everything was over. Being back at all is something of a miracle because there was almost an amputation going on.
“It is sad that he had to withdraw from the most recent tournament due to a recent illness, but he will return because he needs to support Sun Day Red, his new brand, and everything else in his life.
“He’ll be back even though he would love nothing more than to retire.”
Most golf fans on X quickly disregarded the theory, with one commenting, “Total rubbish.”
“This is an onion headline,” said another.
It is difficult to imagine such a thing, considering how difficult Woods’ most recent injury recovery has been.
Following his car accident in February 2021, Woods, now 48, spent three months in a hospital bed and an additional six months using crutches.
He has stated that the crash sent him to a dark place.
According to Woods’ previous statement, “The knee stuff was one level, the back fusion another level, this one with the right leg another level.”
“It’s been a lot of hard work going from a wheelchair to crutches to nothing right now. There were moments of extreme difficulty.”
In the past, Woods asserted that there was a 50% probability he would require an amputation.
Woods stated in December of last year that he thought he could play in one tournament every month by 2024.
For Woods, breaking Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18 major victories now seems unattainable.
However, it is unlikely that the legend will eclipse Sam Snead’s record of 82 Tour wins.
In private discussions with Nicklaus, Woods has also disclosed his desire to compete on the senior circuit.
When he reaches fifty, he will be qualified to compete on that.
